On 25 December 2025, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) held a welcoming ceremony for its Airbus A321neo aircraft, registration HS-TOA, bestowed with the royal name “Bowonrangsi,” at Suvarnabhumi Airport, following its delivery flight from the Airbus Delivery Center in Hamburg, Germany. Delivery & Ceremony - On 25 December 2025, THAI welcomed its first Airbus A321neo (registration HS-TOA, named Bowonrangsi) at Suvarnabhumi Airport after delivery from Hamburg, Germany. - The event was attended by THAI’s Chairman, board members, CEO Chai Eamsiri, and distinguished guests. Strategic Importance - This is the first of 32 A321neo aircraft to be delivered, with the initial 10 entering service under operating lease agreements with AerCap, a leading aircraft lessor. - CEO Chai Eamsiri emphasized that the A321neo strengthens THAI’s fleet capabilities and network strategy, supporting growth in the Asia-Pacific market.
