Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has unveiled a CAD $100 million transformation, marking a new era of wilderness luxury in the Canadian Rockies. Reimagined Main Lodge: Inspired by Jasper’s skies, forests, and glacial landscapes, the refreshed arrival experience includes a new lakeside patio with panoramic views of Lac Beauvert and Whistlers Mountain. Adventure Hub: Embark Outpost + Provisions serves as a general store and adventure concierge, while the upcoming Camp JPL Adventure Club will offer supervised programming for children ages 5–12. Guest Rooms & Cabins: Over 330 rooms and Signature Cabins have been redesigned with alpine chic interiors, organic textures, and layouts that balance privacy with connection. Historic cabins like Outlook and Point Cabin remain central for multi-generational stays and milestone celebrations. Dining Experiences: - Lume: Garden-forward menus inspired by Jasper’s light. - Elderwood: Timber-framed dining with seasonal, shareable plates. - The Barbicon: A modern mountain steakhouse anchored by the original 1922 fireplace. Wellness Without Walls: Outdoor-focused wellness programs include the Glacial Plunge & Sauna Journey, guided mindfulness, and stargazing in Jasper’s Dark Sky Preserve. Traditions & Recreation: The Stanley Thompson–designed golf course has been meticulously restored, with new pickleball courts, playgrounds, and seasonal events like Christmas in November. Leadership Perspective Garrett Turta, General Manager, emphasized that luxury here is about rediscovering time, space, and connection to nature. Tyler MacDonald of Oxford Properties noted the transformation reflects both heritage respect and long-term investment in Canadian communities. This relaunch positions Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge as a destination where luxury meets nature, blending heritage with modern design, and offering immersive experiences for families, couples, and adventurers alike.
