Hyatt Reaches Global RiseHY Goal, Surpassing 10,000 Hires and Progressing Toward 15,000 Hires by the End of 2028

Hyatt has officially surpassed its RiseHY hiring goal, bringing more than 12,000 Opportunity Youth into hospitality careers between 2018 and 2025—well ahead of its original target of 10,000 by the end of 2025.

RiseHY Milestones
- Launch: 2018, designed to connect untapped talent (16–24-year-olds not in school or work) with hospitality careers.
- Achievement: 12,000+ hires globally across Hyatt hotels.
- Renewed Commitment: In June 2025, Hyatt pledged to hire 5,000 more Opportunity Youth by 2028, with a stronger focus on retention, skills training, and career mobility.

Community Impact
- Embedded in Hyatt’s World of Care priorities, RiseHY works with nonprofits and public-private partners to provide training and certification.
- Since 2008, Hyatt and the Hyatt Hotels Foundation have directed $7M+ in grants to 300+ nonprofits across 54 countries.
