Hyatt Regency Denver Unveils $70 Million Transformation

Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center proudly announces the completion of its comprehensive $70 million transformation, coinciding with the hotel’s 20-year milestone in the heart of downtown Denver.

Project Scope
- Marks the hotel’s 20-year milestone at the Colorado Convention Center.
- Comprehensive renovation of 1,100 guestrooms and suites, corridors, and elevator landings.
- Introduced Summit Five, a new 891 sq. ft. meeting space, complementing over 60,000 sq. ft. of event space.

Design & Guest Experience
- Rooted in a “Slow and True” design philosophy.
- Natural materials (wood, stone, porcelain, vegan leather) reflect Denver’s surroundings.
- Rooms feature layered textures, tonal colors, functional storage, USB-C charging, enhanced lighting, and spacious work areas.
- Bathrooms redesigned with illuminated mirrors, upgraded vanities, glass showers or new bathtubs, and large-format amenities.
- Select rooms include lounge seating oriented toward city and mountain views.

Sustainability
- 90% of old furniture, lighting, and artwork resold and diverted from landfills.
- New shower pans made from recycled materials — each using ~450 plastic bottles, totaling nearly half a million bottles reused.
- Collaboration with local vendors ensured sustainability and community impact.

Local Integration
- More than 150 works of art by 50+ Colorado-based creators, curated with Nine Dot Arts.
- Renovation partners included DLR Group, Artaic Group, Benjamin West, and Milender White.

Leadership Voices
- GM Greg Leonard: transformation is both a guest experience upgrade and an investment in staff success.
- Denver Convention Center Hotel Authority CEO Bill Mosher: emphasized the importance of engaging local partners to extend benefits beyond the hotel.

Special Offers
- Regency Reimagined package to showcase new guestrooms.
- Bed & Breakfast option with daily breakfast at Former Saint Craft Kitchen and Taps.
- 20-year milestone wedding offer: $20 off per person for packages booked by May 31, 2026, and held before Dec 31, 2027.

Bottom line: Hyatt Regency Denver’s transformation blends residential-inspired design, sustainability, and local artistry, positioning it as a refreshed hub for both leisure and business travelers in downtown Denver.
