Project Type: Greenfield development Capacity: 70 rooms Facilities: - All-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, and bar - Banquet hall and meeting rooms - Swimming pool, fitness centre, and spa Location: Dirang, West Kameng district — famous for apple orchards, terraced farms, pine-covered hills, and natural hot springs. Strategic Importance: Positioned en route to Tawang, a key destination for leisure and adventure tourism. Partnership - IHCL Executive VP (Real Estate & Development): Ms. Suma Venkatesh emphasized Dirang’s growing demand and strategic location. - Local Partner: Mr. Phurpa Tsering, a prominent developer in Dirang, also active in cinema operations across the North-East. IHCL’s Broader Footprint - With this signing, IHCL now has 21 hotels in the North East, including 12 under development. - This expansion reflects IHCL’s strategy of pioneering new destinations and supporting sustainable tourism.
