Allegris Business Class seats in the Boeing 787-9 are now available on flights departing from 29 March 2026

Lufthansa’s Allegris Business Class rollout on the Boeing 787-9 has accelerated thanks to partial certification progress. Here are the key updates:

Certification & Availability
- 25 of 28 Allegris seats are now approved for booking starting March 29, 2026.
- Only three seats in the second row remain pending certification.
- This is earlier than the previously announced April 15 launch date, meaning travelers can book Allegris for Easter holiday travel.

Product Highlights
- Fully enclosed suites with doors.
- Extra-wide seats converting into flat beds.
- Personal minibars, wardrobes, and storage.
- Wireless charging and large entertainment screens.
- Flexible seating options including extra-long beds and double suites.

Routes from Frankfurt (Summer 2026)
- Initial destinations: Austin, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Cape Town, Shanghai, Hyderabad, Hong Kong.
- From June: New York JFK and Los Angeles.
- From July: Delhi.
- Later expansion: Toronto, Montréal, Lagos, and Malabo (some flights with Allegris, others without).

Fleet Expansion
- Lufthansa has already received nine new Dreamliners with Allegris.
- Plans to operate at least ten 787-9s from Frankfurt by summer 2026.
- Total order: 29 Boeing 787-9s by 2027.

This marks a major milestone in Lufthansa’s €2.5 billion modernization program, positioning Allegris as a premium competitive product against other leading global carriers.
