The emirate set a new Guinness World Record for the Largest aerial display of a phoenix formed by drones. Here are the highlights of this breathtaking celebration: Phoenix Formation: 2,300 drones lit up the sky, including 1,000 pyro drones that ignited the wings of a giant phoenix — symbolizing renewal, optimism, and rebirth. “The Welcome” Formation: A human figure rising from the sea with open arms, representing Ras Al Khaimah’s warmth and hospitality. Fireworks Extravaganza: A six-kilometre-long fireworks display stretched from Marjan Island to Al Hamra, perfectly choreographed to cascade along the coastline. Festival Atmosphere: Thousands of spectators enjoyed live stage performances, beachfront festivities, and an early fireworks show at Corniche Al Qawasim. Legacy of Records: This adds to Ras Al Khaimah’s growing reputation for innovative, record-breaking New Year’s Eve celebrations. Phillipa Harrison, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, emphasized that beyond the record, the true achievement was the memories created for the community and visitors.
