Air India has welcomed its first fully retrofitted Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (VT-ANT), which landed in Delhi on April 13, 2026 after a non-stop ferry flight from San Bernardino, California. Aircraft: VT-ANT, the first of 26 B787s undergoing a complete “nose-to-tail” cabin refresh. Upgrades: Comprehensive interior enhancements at Boeing’s Modification Center in Victorville, followed by a repaint in Air India’s new livery at AeroPro in San Bernardino. Journey: Flew non-stop across the Pacific, arriving in Delhi at 22:44 hrs. Purpose: These refreshed twin-aisle aircraft will serve long-haul destinations across the UK, Europe, USA, and Far East.
