Wizz Air and SAC strengthen Catania Base: Third Aircraft to boost Sicily's connectivity
Wizz Air, the airline that carried over 21 million passengers in Italy in 2025, and SAC, the airport operating company of Catania and Comiso Airports, today announced during a joint press conference a further and significant investment in the south-eastern Sicilian airport hub: the allocation, starting from May 2026, of a third Airbus A321neo aircraft to the Catania base.
