Norwegian Cruise Line® Opens for Sale Its Largest and Most Illuminating Ship - The All-New Norwegian Aura™

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the innovator in global cruise travel, today unveiled and opened for sale Norwegian Aura™, the longest and largest vessel in its fleet, which will homeport in Miami beginning in June 2027 following her debut in Europe in late May 2027.

Launch & Availability:
Norwegian Aura™ is now open for sale, with first voyages beginning in May 2027 in Europe, followed by a Miami homeport in June 2027.

Size & Capacity:
- Length: ~1,130 feet
- Gross tonnage: 168,000 GT
- Capacity: 3,840 guests (double occupancy)
- 10% larger than predecessors Norwegian Aqua® and Norwegian Luna™.

Design:
Built by Fincantieri with interiors by renowned designers including AD Associates, Piero Lissoni, Rockwell Group, SMC Design, and Studio Dado.

Hull Art:
Created by international artist Rosie Woods, inspired by celestial light and bioluminescent seas.

Ocean Heights™ (Decks 18–21):
- Most slides of any NCL ship (including Eclipse Racers, Aura Free Fall, The Wave, and The Drop).
- 82-foot ropes course, rock climbing wall, mini golf, carnival-style games, and overhanging cabanas.

Ocean Boulevard (Deck 8):
- Expanded promenade with infinity beaches, hot tubs, bars, and kid/teen hubs (Adventure Alley, Teen Hangout, Little Explorer’s Cove).

Pools & Sundecks:
- Largest pool deck in NCL’s fleet, expanded infinity hot tubs, LED entertainment screen, Kids’ Aqua Park, and family slides.

The Haven by Norwegian®:
- 30% more suites than previous Prima Class ships.
- Private sundeck with infinity pool, hot tubs, sauna, cold room, and exclusive restaurant/lounge.

Itineraries
- Debut Voyage (May 21, 2027): Trieste → Barcelona, with stops in Valletta (Malta), Salerno & Rome (Italy).
- Caribbean Season (June–Oct 2027): Seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruises from Miami, visiting Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola, and Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas). - Winter 2027/28: Seven-day Western Caribbean cruises to Roatan (Honduras), Costa Maya & Cozumel (Mexico), and Harvest Caye (Belize).
