Step into Asia’s Most Dazzling Holiday Experience as the Magic of Hong Kong WinterFest Unfolds

Hong Kong has officially kicked off its WinterFest 2025, transforming the city into one of Asia’s most dazzling holiday destinations. Here’s a snapshot of what makes this year’s celebration so magical:

Christmas Town at Statue Square Garden
- A towering 20-metre Christmas tree (as tall as a six-storey building) with dynamic lighting effects.
- 28 smaller trees decorated in gold, red, and copper ornaments.
- Giant toy-themed decorations — airplanes, trains, jeeps, airships, and puppets delivering presents.
- A miniature train ride every 20 minutes, complete with steam and toot-toot sounds.
- Live carol performances and surprise visits from Santa Claus.

Christmas Market
- Opens 28 November – 4 January with 12 chalets offering festive food, gifts, and workshops.

Immersive Lights Show in Central
- From 28 November – 4 January, eight iconic buildings will be lit up with synchronized audio-visual displays every 30 minutes.

Starlight Boulevard
- Chater Road will be transformed into a glowing boulevard with over 30 illuminated trees and golden light canopies.
- Visitors can capture interactive photo moments at “Noëlia at LANDMARK” in the Landmark Atrium.

Citywide Festivities
- Merry Balloon Park (West Kowloon Art Park, Dec 6 – Jan 4): Giant inflatable playground, 7-metre Christmas tree, and a 40-metre track.
- Merry Balloon Parade (Victoria Harbour, Dec 28): Nearly 20 giant floating balloons of beloved IP characters.
- Ocean Park: Underwater Christmas adventure with dolphins, manta rays, and sharks.
- Hong Kong Disneyland: 20th anniversary celebrations with World of Frozen, Disney Christmas Live in Concert, and a spectacular drone-lit tree ceremony.
- Harbour City (Tsim Sha Tsui): “Magical Christmas @ Harbour City” with themed installations and Disney characters.

- K11 MUSEA & K11 Art Mall: Large-scale outdoor installations and themed pop-ups (including Nintendo’s Kirby market).
