A high-level delegation from Norway visited Goa for a roundtable hosted by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C) in collaboration with the Department of Tourism. Areas of Collaboration: - Technology integration and AI skilling programs - Creative-tech and design-led innovation - Sustainable and climate-conscious tourism - Aquaculture and marine technology projects - Talent exchange programs and international certifications Tourism Strategy: Goa showcased its focus on immersive, sustainable tourism—highlighting heritage, biodiversity, wellness, Ayurveda, and medical tourism as emerging opportunity areas. Shared Vision: Both sides emphasized that partnerships should benefit Goans through employment, opportunities, and growth, while aligning with Norway’s strengths in digitization, renewable energy, and aquaculture.
