Key Highlights of the New Bus Routes
- Partnership: NIA has signed an MoU with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
- Major Routes:
- NIA ↔ Mathura–Vrindavan (holy cities)
- NIA ↔ Agra (historic Taj Mahal city)
- NIA ↔ Hathras (major urban hub)
- NIA ↔ Aligarh (renowned for academics and industry)
- Extended Coverage: Destinations include Bulandshahr, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Hapur, Moradabad, and Shikohabad.

Wider Connectivity
- Builds on existing partnerships with Haryana Roadways, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, and Delhi Transport Corporation.
- Ensures direct bus links to Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Haridwar, and more.
- Now connected to 25+ cities across four states, creating a robust multimodal transport network.

Airport Growth Plans
- Phase 1: One runway + one terminal, capacity for 12 million passengers annually.
- Phase 4 (completion): Capacity to handle 70 million passengers per year, making NIA a major hub in North India.

This initiative ensures last-mile connectivity, making travel to and from the airport seamless for passengers while boosting tourism, commerce, and regional integration
