The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has unveiled the full program for the PATA Destination Marketing Forum 2025 (PDMF 2025), which will take place from December 1–3, 2025 at The Heritage Chiang Rai Hotel & Convention in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Inauguration: The conference will be formally officiated by Mr. Napintorn Srisunpang, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office of the Kingdom of Thailand. Theme: “Steeped in Tradition, Rooted in Wellness: Weaving the Meaningful Narrative of Travel” — focusing on wellness, hyper-local travel, cultural heritage, technology, and destination reinvention. Delegates: Over 300 participants from 19 destinations are expected, including tourism leaders, creative voices, and global experts. Experiential Activities: - Chiang Rai WOW Market & Famous Food Festival showcasing local cuisine and crafts. - Technical tours highlighting sustainability, culture, and artistry — from Akha tribal performances to Chiang Saen Historical City experiences. - Evening receptions at Singha Park and other cultural venues. Speakers: Esteemed voices from UNESCO, Jeju Tourism Organization, Sabah Tourism Board, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and Chiang Rai Province, among others. Special Note: Delegates are requested to wear muted colors in respect of Thailand’s national mourning following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
