The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) organized the 6th National EMRS Cultural & Literary Fest and Kala Utsav – UDBHAV 2025, hosted by the Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (APTWREIS). Gummidi Sandhya Rani, Minister of Tribal Welfare and Women & Child Welfare Highlights of UDBHAV 2025 - Scale: Over 2,000 tribal students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) across India. - Events: - 48 distinct competitions including Vocal & Instrumental Music, Dance, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Literary contests. - Winners will qualify for the National Level Kala Utsav at YASHADA, Pune, Maharashtra. - Purpose: - Showcase India’s tribal cultural diversity. - Provide national exposure and opportunities for holistic development. - Strengthen confidence, creativity, and cultural identity among tribal youth. - Vision Alignment: Resonates with the Prime Minister’s mission of inclusive growth and tribal empowerment.
