Air India and Singapore Airlines (SIA) have announced the first phase of initiatives under their Commercial Cooperation Framework Agreement, signed in January 2026.
The partnership aims to provide customers with greater flexibility, more flight options, and a more seamless travel experience between India and Singapore.
Enhanced Flight Access
- From 15 October 2026, customers will gain access to a broader range of itineraries and flight options through both airlines' booking channels.
- The enhanced cooperation covers 126 weekly flights between Singapore and eight Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
- Customers will be able to book eligible flights operated by either airline on a standalone basis through the other carrier's website, mobile application, and appointed travel agencies.
Frequent Flyer Benefits
- In April 2026, the airlines expanded reciprocal mileage accrual benefits for Maharaja Club and KrisFlyer members.
- Members can now earn miles across a wider range of eligible booking classes and flights operated by either airline.
New Elite Member Perks
- From Q2 2027, Maharaja Club and KrisFlyer members will receive enhanced reciprocal benefits in addition to existing Star Alliance privileges.
- Maharaja Club Platinum and KrisFlyer PPS Club members will enjoy priority check-in and boarding benefits.
- Maharaja Club Silver and KrisFlyer Elite Silver members will receive additional baggage allowances and priority boarding on eligible routes.
Future Initiatives
- Air India and Singapore Airlines are working on improved schedule connectivity to reduce layover and waiting times.
- The airlines are also developing enhanced offerings for corporate customers.
- Additional measures are planned to further streamline the overall travel experience.

Existing Partnership
- Air India and Singapore Airlines currently maintain a comprehensive codeshare agreement covering 77 destinations across 27 countries and territories.
- Through their hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, and Singapore, the two carriers provide connectivity across Asia, Europe, North America, Australia, and other international markets.
