FITUR 2027 is to host the presentation of the AMT Destination Awards, showcasing the solutions that will shape the future of tourist destinations
FITUR 2027, organized by IFEMA MADRID, will host the 10th edition of the AMT Smart Destinations Awards.
The awards recognize technological solutions and innovative projects that help tourist destinations become smarter, more sustainable, and more competitive.
Application Timeline
- Applications opened on 1 October 2026.
- The submission deadline is 15 November 2026.
- Finalists will be announced on 8 January 2027.
- The awards ceremony will take place on 21 January 2027 at FITUR TechY during FITUR 2027.
Award Categories
Entries can be submitted in five categories:
- Integrated Destination Management
- Interaction with Tourists and Residents
- Environmental Sustainability
- Destination Promotion and Marketing
- Innovative Destination Projects
Evaluation Process
- Entries will be assessed by a jury comprising representatives from the Alliance of Sun and Beach Tourist Municipalities (AMT) and tourism industry organizations including FITUR, SEGITTUR, Thinktur, INVAT·TUR, and ITH.
- Participating companies will also be eligible to apply for a fully subsidized mentorDay business acceleration programme.
