As The Leela celebrates four decades of True Indian Luxury, the brand recently unveiled Melodies by The Leela, its official sonic identity and a new cultural expression of its enduring commitment to Indian art, heritage and hospitality.
Sonic Identity
- Melodies by The Leela: The brand’s official sonic identity, extending its philosophy of Indian luxury into music.
- Designed to complement The Leela’s sensory expressions in architecture, design, cuisine, wellness, and service.
Inaugural Album – A Living Raga
- A 14‑track commemorative album created exclusively for The Leela.
- Composed by Grammy‑winning sarod maestros Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash.
- Produced with Karsh Kale and Sawan Dutta, featuring musicians like Rajesh Prasanna (flute), Ahaana Ali (sarangi), Gopal Dayal (shehnai), and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.
- Inspired by Atithi Devo Bhava (the philosophy of guest as god).
Launch Event
- First listening held at The Leela Palace New Delhi on 7th August.
- Attendees included Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Subhalakshmi Khan, Vijay Amritraj, Falguni Shane Peacock, Amitabh Kant, Suresh & Priyanka Raina, and Shereen Bhan.
