Cathay Pacific Flexible ticket conditions for flights to/from Taipei or Kaohsiung
Cathay Pacific has introduced flexible ticket arrangements due to Severe Tropical Storm Bavi affecting Taipei (TPE) and Kaohsiung (KHH).
Applicable Travel
- Tickets issued on/before 06 Jul 2026
- Original travel period: 09 – 11 Jul 2026
- Ticket change deadline: Before 11 Jul 2026
- Travel must be completed by: 31 Aug 2026
Conditions
- Applies only to tickets issued by Cathay Pacific (ticket numbers starting with 160).
- Rebooking and rerouting charges are waived.
- Any fare or tax differences between the original and new itinerary will still apply.
- New travel dates must be on/before 31 Aug 2026, subject to seat availability.
- Not valid for tickets already fully or partially refunded.
Disruption Handling
- Cathay Pacific is closely monitoring the storm.
- If flights are cancelled, passengers will be rebooked on the first available service and offered additional support options.
This flexibility is designed to give travelers confidence and options as the storm approaches Taiwan.
