Building India’s Future Hospitality Workforce: Radisson Hotel Group’s Skilling Initiative Empowers 850+ Youth

Radisson Hotel Group has announced a significant milestone under its Youth Skilling Initiative, positively impacting more than 850 young people across India through its collaboration with the Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) and The Job Plus. This programme has emerged as one of the largest hospitality-focused skilling interventions for underserved youth in the country.

Key Outcomes
- 616 youth trained and certified under the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF)
- 501 placed in formal hospitality employment across leading hotel brands
- 87% placement rate, with over half of candidates being women
- Impact across eight states: Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Delhi NCR, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana

Next Phase
With the third phase underway, Radisson Hotel Group aims to expand its reach, enabling more youth across underserved regions to access formal skilling, certification, and long-term employment opportunities in India’s growing hospitality sector.
