ITA Airways launches Green Fares

ITA Airways is expanding its offering with the introduction of the new Green Fares, that include a contribution dedicated to supporting initiatives aimed at reducing CO₂ emissions.

Core Concept
- Green Fares are new ticket options (Economy Green, Premium Economy Green, Business Green) that include a contribution dedicated to reducing CO₂ emissions.
- Passengers support certified climate protection projects and the future adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) with just one click.

How Contributions Are Allocated
European & Domestic routes:
- 80% → Climate protection projects
- 20% → SAF adoption
Selected intercontinental routes:
- 90% → Climate protection projects
- 10% → SAF adoption
Exclusions: Not available on flights to/from Japan, the US, and Canada.

Passenger Benefits
- Extra Miles & Points in the Miles&More program.
- Greater booking flexibility.
- All advantages of Economy or Business Saver fares.
