Air India has just unveiled Cloud Chasers, a new global kids’ programme designed to make flying more engaging and enjoyable for families with children. Playful Kits Onboard: Kids aged 3–9 on long-haul flights receive activity kits with puzzles, games, and drawing prompts, all featuring the Maharaja in his new playful avatar. First Flight Certificates: A refreshed, whimsical design signed by the captain and crew, creating a keepsake for children’s first journeys. Curated Entertainment: Over 130 hours of child-friendly content on the Vista inflight system, plus 35 hours on Vista Stream. Includes shows from partners like Moonbug and Red Bull TV, interactive maps, and games like UNO, Angry Birds, Chess, and Ludo Race. Audio Stories: Collaborations with Vobble bring learning-based audio tales to reduce screen time. Priority Services for Families: Priority boarding, check-in assistance, infant meals, bassinet seats, and dedicated crew support. The Maharaja’s New Role The iconic Maharaja has been reimagined as a young, adventurous companion who guides children through their journey of discovery. He appears across kits, certificates, and other touchpoints, embodying curiosity and fun. Why Now? Family travel has grown by 13% between 2024 and 2025, making thoughtfully designed experiences for children more important than ever. Air India sees Cloud Chasers as the first phase of a long-term vision to elevate family travel. Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, summed it up: > “With Cloud Chasers, we are reimagining what it means for families with kids to fly Air India… thoughtful experiences that will make their journeys more joyful and fun.”
