Emirates has revealed a striking new livery featuring a large UAE flag emblazoned across the fuselage of its Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft. National Pride: The design is part of the airline’s “This Flag Will Always Fly” campaign, launched in response to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s nationwide call to raise the UAE flag as a symbol of unity and resilience. Leadership Statement: HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, emphasized the livery as a tribute to the UAE’s strength and ambition, noting: “There is no greater stage for our flag than in the skies, and no greater privilege for Emirates than to fly it with pride.” Design Details: The bold 3D flag design drapes elegantly across both sides of the aircraft, extending Emirates’ iconic tail motif. The aircraft has already flown to New York and Brisbane, with plans to showcase the livery across more A380 destinations. Future Expansion: Emirates also plans to apply the flag design to a Boeing 777, further amplifying the visibility of the UAE’s national colors worldwide. Legacy of Special Liveries: This initiative follows previous commemorative designs, including the Year of Zayed livery in 2017 and Expo 2020 Dubai liveries across 40 aircraft. This announcement positions Emirates as both a global ambassador for the UAE and a carrier that blends aviation excellence with national identity.
