Vietnam Airlines announced new cooperation agreements with leading Indian partners during the Vietnam–India Business Forum, held alongside the State visit of General Secretary and State President To Lam. Tourism Collaboration: The airline partnered with Innovations India to promote cultural and tourism initiatives such as the Namaste Vietnam Festival and destination marketing campaigns, aiming to boost Indian arrivals and enhance bilateral tourism promotion. Financial Partnership: A strategic alliance with J.P. Morgan India will provide Vietnam Airlines access to advanced financial and payment solutions, strengthening operational efficiency and supporting long-term growth. Market Expansion: Chairman Dang Ngoc Hoa emphasized that these partnerships reflect Vietnam Airlines’ commitment to sustainable development and deeper economic ties between Vietnam and India. The announcement comes amid strong growth in the Vietnam–India aviation market, which reached 1.8 million passengers in 2025, a 24% year-on-year increase. Vietnam Airlines currently operates six routes connecting Vietnam and India, with plans for further expansion.
