Added Comfort - Passengers receive a custom-fitted mattress pad, plush blanket, two extra pillows, and a Children’s Travel Kit (including a plush toy and Sesame Street–themed activities). - Designed for families with small children, couples, and solo travelers who want more comfort without upgrading to premium cabins. Rollout Timeline - Launching in 2027. - Planned for more than 200 Boeing 787 and 777 widebody aircraft by 2030. - Up to 12 Relax Row sections per plane, located between United Economy and United Premium Plus®. Industry First - United is the first North American airline to introduce this type of seating and holds exclusivity on the design. Family-Friendly Extras - Free family seating: children under 12 automatically seated next to an adult in their party. - Kids’ meals available for pre-order (options like french toast, chicken fingers, grilled cheese). - Curated inflight entertainment for families (Bluey, Paw Patrol, Zootopia 2, Paddington in Peru). This innovation is part of United’s broader push to make economy travel more comfortable and family-friendly, while maintaining affordability.
