Zo Trips, the curated group travel vertical by Zostel, has announced its entry into global, experience-led sports travel with the launch of Formula 1 race weekend packages for the 2026 season. This marks India’s first community-led platform designed to deliver seamless, end-to-end F1 travel experiences. A New Era of Travel Unlike traditional itinerary-driven tourism, Zo Trips focuses on shared, interest-led journeys anchored around global events. The initiative blends official grandstand access across practice, qualifying, and race day with curated stays, seamless transfers, and on-ground coordination—all within a group-driven format. Strong Early Demand The response has been immediate: the first 2026 group is already sold out, with 1,500+ inbound requests across multiple races on the Formula 1 calendar, driven entirely by organic demand. The first confirmed departure is for the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka, followed by Singapore and Azerbaijan. Registrations for the 2027 Australian Grand Prix are now open, with long-haul races across the Americas under consideration. CEO’s Vision Aviral Gupta, CEO of Zostel and Zo World, explained: > “Travel is undergoing a fundamental shift from destinations to experiences. Journeys are increasingly being built around moments that matter—from concerts to global sporting events. Formula 1 stands out because it brings together sport, culture, and a truly global fan community. With Zo Trips, we are enabling Indian travellers to access these moments in a seamless, community-driven way.” Beyond Stays This expansion positions Zo Trips at the intersection of travel, culture, and global experiences, extending Zostel’s community-first ethos beyond hostels and stays. It reflects a broader trend among younger Indian travellers, who are increasingly prioritizing event-led, immersive experiences over conventional sightseeing.
