Etihad Guest Reduces Tier Qualifications by 25%
Etihad Guest has reduced its tier qualification thresholds by 25% across all membership tiers, allowing members to retain their current status or move to the next tier with fewer Etihad Guest Tier Miles than previously required. 25% reduction in tier thresholds: Members now need fewer Tier Miles to retain or upgrade their status. Applies globally: All Etihad Guest members benefit automatically—no registration or action required. Effective period: The reduced thresholds apply from 18 March 2026 until 31 March 2027. Flexibility for travelers: Designed to support members whose travel plans have been disrupted recently, making it easier to maintain or progress in tier status. Earning & redemption: Tier Miles can be earned on Etihad and partner airlines, while Guest Miles can be redeemed for flights, hotels, holidays, or products in the Reward Shop. This move is essentially a loyalty boost—Etihad is recognizing that many travelers have faced interruptions and wants to keep them engaged with the program.
