Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR) has unveiled “Connections by BLR”, a comprehensive transfer experience designed to make connecting journeys smoother and more passenger‑friendly.

Three pillars:
Built on Ease, Efficiency, and Experiential, the program tackles common transfer challenges.

Passenger services:
- Dedicated transfer desks across terminals
- Blue and yellow color‑coded wayfinding signages
- Defined transfer zones
- Complimentary inter‑terminal shuttle with minimal wait times

Comfort & convenience:
- Choice of lounges
- Curated retail and F&B options
- Sleeping pods for short stays
- Transit hotels at T1 and T2 with boutique rooms for longer layovers

Traffic growth:
International transfer traffic has grown 30% year‑on‑year, now accounting for ~15% of total passenger traffic, with projections to reach 20% by 2026.

Network strength:
BLR connects to 114 destinations (80 domestic, 34 international), with strong hubs like Singapore, London Heathrow, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Kuala Lumpur. Recent additions include Hindon, Bidar, Jaisalmer, Silchar, Navi Mumbai, Dammam, Ho Chi Minh City, Krabi, Hanoi, and Riyadh.
