Accor appoints Laurent Choain as Global Chief People and Culture Officer

To further strengthen its global leadership in human resources and foster a culture of excellence, Accor is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurent Choain as its new Global Chief People & Culture Officer, member of the Group Management Board effective April 1, 2026. Besides his global role, Laurent will also be serving on the Premium, Midscale & Economy Executive Committee.

Laurent Choain’s Background
- Experience: 30+ years in international HR leadership.
- Past Roles: Senior positions at Forvis Mazars, Groupe Caisse d’Epargne (BPCE), and Kempinski Hotels & Resorts.
- Expertise: Corporate universities, management education, organizational culture.
- Academic Credentials: PhD in Management Sciences (Université Paris Panthéon Assas), plus Master’s degrees from Paris Panthéon Sorbonne and Neoma Business School.
- Industry Engagement: Board memberships with EFMD, Bologna Business School, Peter Drucker Society of Europe, and Festival de Ramatuelle.
