IndiGo Carefully Rebuilds its Scheduled Network in the Middle East and Europe

While conditions in the Middle East continue to be volatile, IndiGo has been relentlessly working with the relevant authorities in India and respective destinations to progressively rebuild its scheduled network in the Middle East and Europe. IndiGo restarted its scheduled flights, in a staggered manner, to and from select destinations in the Middle East from 03 March 2026 and has operated more than 165 such flights ever since, flying over 22,000 customers between India and the region.

- Total flights: 38
- Regions covered: 12 destinations across the Middle East & Europe
- Aircraft types: Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner (wet/damp lease from Norse Atlantic Airways) and A321XLR

- Mumbai – London Heathrow (Dreamliner)
- Mumbai – Amsterdam (Dreamliner)
- Delhi – Manchester (Dreamliner)
- Athens – Delhi / Mumbai (A321XLR)

Middle East Routes
- Saudi Arabia: Jeddah, Medina (from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Bengaluru)
- UAE: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras-Al-Khaimah, Fujairah (from Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad)
- Oman: Muscat (from Mumbai, Hyderabad)

Notable Updates
- Flight 6E002 London Heathrow – Mumbai was diverted to Cairo and will depart the following day.
- IndiGo has already flown 22,000+ customers between India and the Middle East since resuming operations on 03 March 2026.
- The airline emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and close coordination with authorities while progressively rebuilding its network.
