Enhanced Operations on 7 March 2026
- Around 50 flights are planned to and from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah, Muscat, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah.
- Air India Express will operate 43 flights across the region.
- These include both scheduled and additional non‑scheduled flights, primarily to bring stranded travellers back to India.

- Guests with tickets issued until 4 March 2026 for travel between 28 Feb – 8 Mar can rebook within one month at no extra cost.
- Air India and Air India Express are proactively contacting impacted travellers via registered mobile numbers.
- Rebooking is available through the airlines’ websites, hotlines, or via Air India Express’ digital assistant Tia on WhatsApp.
Other Updates
- Flights to Europe and North America are operating normally, though India–North America routes are making technical stops in Rome or Vienna.
- Several routes in West Asia remain suspended until further notice (e.g., Riyadh, Dammam, Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha).
