Special flights: SriLankan Airlines, in partnership with Charter X, operated seven charter flights between India and Sri Lanka during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup (Feb 8 – Mar 1, 2026). Teams carried: USA, India, Namibia, England, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe. Flight highlights: - UL1144 Mumbai–Colombo (Team USA) - UL1145 Colombo–Ahmedabad (Team India) - UL1128 Chennai–Colombo (Team Namibia, later Team New Zealand) - UL1188 Kolkata–Colombo (Team England) - UL1143 Colombo–Mumbai (Team Zimbabwe, later Team England again) Impact: Ensured seamless travel for players, reinforcing SriLankan Airlines’ role in supporting international sports logistics.
