Hilton has just opened the Hilton Quang Hanh Onsen Resort in Quang Ninh, Vietnam — its first onsen resort in Southeast Asia. Location & Concept - Nestled in the Quang Hanh valley, about 30 minutes from Ha Long and 2.5 hours from Hanoi. - Built around the area’s rare natural hot mineral springs, offering private onsen baths in every room. - Designed to blend Japanese wellness traditions with Hilton’s signature hospitality. Accommodation - 178 villas and 38 rooms, each with a private onsen and sauna access. - Villas range from 2–4 bedrooms (110–550 sqm). - Two Presidential Villas (1,250 sqm) feature 5 bedrooms, karaoke rooms, teppanyaki facilities, and wine cellars. - Currently, 50 villas and all rooms are open; the rest will launch later this year. Wellness & Recreation - Direct access to Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh, with 27 public baths and 18 gender/mixed bathing areas. - Eforea Spa, indoor pool with mountain views, fitness center, and Kids’ Club. Dining - Genji: modern Japanese restaurant with sushi, teppanyaki, and kaiseki menus (210 seats). - Genji Bar: panoramic views, cocktails, afternoon tea. - Kitchen Craft: all-day dining (currently under renovation, reopening later this year). Hilton in Vietnam - This is Hilton’s third property in Vietnam, part of its plan to double its portfolio in the country. - Complements the recently opened Tru by Hilton Ha Long Hon Gai Centre.
