Air Arabia Posts Record AED 1.8 Billion Net Profit Before Tax in 2025

Air Arabia (PJSC), the first and largest budget carrier operator in the Middle East and North Africa, today announced its strongest-ever financial and operational performance for the full year ended December 31, 2025.

Net Profit:
AED 1.8 billion before tax, up 14% from 2024 (AED 1.6 billion).

Revenue:
AED 7.78 billion, a 15% increase year-on-year.

Passenger Growth:
Carried 21.8 million passengers, up 16% across six hubs (UAE, Morocco, Egypt, Pakistan).

Seat Load Factor:
Improved to 85% (from 81%), showing strong demand and efficiency.

Q4 2025 Performance:
- Net profit: AED 405 million (+15%).
- Revenue: AED 2.12 billion (+26%).
- Passengers: 5.7 million (+22%).
- Seat load factor: 87%.

Fleet Expansion:
Added 9 Airbus A320 family aircraft (including 5 A320neo). Total fleet: 90 aircraft.

Network Growth:
Added 30 new routes, expanding to 219 destinations.

Liquidity:
AED 5.3 billion in cash and equivalents.

Sustainability:
- Maintained MSCI ESG “AA” rating.
- First A320neo delivered, reducing fuel burn and CO₂ emissions by ~20%.
- Improved S&P Global ESG score to 39 (+14 points).
- CDP rating: B- for CO₂ reduction strategy.

Recognition:
- “Low-Cost Carrier of the Year” (Aviation Business Middle East Awards 2025).
- Ranked among Top 20 Low-Cost Airlines globally.
- CEO Adel Al Ali listed among 150 Most Influential Arabs 2025.

Dividend Proposal
- Board recommends 30 fils per share cash dividend (30% of share capital), subject to shareholder approval.

- Four orphanages built in Ethiopia.
