The Responsible Tourism Festival is set to take place in Thiruvananthapuram from February 11 to 15, 2026, at the Kanakakkunnu Palace grounds. Inauguration: By Tourism Minister P. A. Mohamed Riyas. Organizers: Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission Society, supported by the Department of Tourism. Exhibitions: - Around 120 stalls showcasing traditional products and artifacts created by Responsible Tourism (RT) units across Kerala. - Strong focus on women-led RT units, highlighting social and economic empowerment. Food Experiences: Authentic Kerala cuisine from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram, with full-course meals and regional delicacies. Cultural Programs: - Performances by artists associated with RT units. - Highlights include a bamboo music ensemble and village-based artistic traditions. Guests & Dignitaries: - Shri V. K. Prasanth (MLA) presiding. - Chief guests include MPs Shashi Tharoor and A. A. Rahim, and Thiruvananthapuram Mayor V. V. Rajesh. - Senior officials and tourism leaders will also attend.
