Airbnb Introducing the 2026 Host Advisory Boards
Host Advisory Board members are exceptional hosts who partner with Airbnb to influence the future of hosting. We created the board for home hosts in 2021, and we’re introducing two new global boards to support the growing community of experience and service hosts. Expansion of Advisory Boards: - Airbnb first created a Home Host Advisory Board in 2021. - In 2026, they are introducing two new global boards: - Experience Host Advisory Board - Service Host Advisory Board Membership: - 45 hosts selected from 19 countries. - Chosen for their expertise, hospitality, and community impact. Purpose: - Give hosts a stronger voice in shaping Airbnb’s future. - Ensure representation across homes, experiences, and services. Leadership Statement: - Marcela Aguilar, VP of Community at Airbnb, emphasized that these hosts are valued partners helping shape the future of hosting. Strategic Significance This move reflects Airbnb’s commitment to community-driven innovation, ensuring that hosts influence product development and service evolution. It also highlights Airbnb’s shift toward diversifying beyond stays, with experiences and services becoming central to its growth.
