Chennai Metro Awards Consultancy for Feasibility Reports for Transport Systems in Kodaikanal and Mamallapuram

Chennai Metro Asset Management Limited (CMAML), a Joint Venture of Chennai Metro Rail Limited and TIDCO, has been entrusted with the Preparation of Detailed Feasibility Reports for two landmark projects viz., a High-Altitude Ropeway Transport Systems for Kodaikanal and a Cable Propelled Transport System (CPTS) for Mamallapuram.

Project Overview

- Goal: Enhance tourism, improve regional connectivity, and promote eco-friendly mobility in a sensitive hill destination.
- Mamallapuram: Cable Propelled Transport System (CPTS)
- Goal: Provide panoramic views of UNESCO World Heritage monuments, improve accessibility, and support sustainable visitor mobility.
