Dwarka Sub-City Congestion: - Post UER-II opening, traffic dispersal into colonies needs urgent planning. - Options discussed: - Divert through-traffic away from internal roads - Strengthen airport/Gurugram linkages - Better metro integration - Intelligent traffic management systems. Three Major Corridors Handed to NHAI: - Mathura Road (Ashram → Badarpur Border) - Old Delhi–Rohtak Road (Punjabi Bagh → Tikri Border) - Mehrauli–Gurugram Road (Mehrauli → Gurugram city) - Total: 33 km, critical links for Delhi–NCR connectivity. Decongestion Plan Highlights - Delhi–Amritsar–Katra Expressway Extension (NE-5): Direct link via UER-II & Dwarka Expressway. - UER-II Extension (NH-344M): Connecting Alipur to Delhi–Dehradun Expressway near Tronica City. - Proposed Road Tunnel: From Dwarka Expressway (near Shiv Murti, Mahipalpur) to Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj.
