On 6 January 2026 and 11 January 2026, NHAI (with concessionaire Rajpath Infracon Pvt. Ltd.) set four Guinness World Records: 1. Longest continuous laying of Bituminous Concrete - 28.89 lane km in 24 hours (equivalent to a 3-lane wide, 9.63 km stretch). 2. Highest quantity of Bituminous Concrete laid in 24 hours - 10,655 metric tons. 3. Continuous laying of 57,500 metric tons of Bituminous Concrete - Achieved across Packages 2 & 3 of the corridor. 4. Continuous paving of 156 lane km - Equivalent to a 3-lane wide, 52 km stretch. - Surpassed the previous world record of 84.4 lane km (2-lane wide, 42.2 km stretch). How It Was Achieved Machinery & Workforce: - 70 tippers, 5 hot mix plants, 1 paver, 17 rollers. - Supported by IIT Bombay and OEMs for quality assurance. Quality Control: - Stringent monitoring ensured adherence to safety and international standards. Corridor Highlights Length: 343 km, six-lane, access-controlled highway (NH-544G).
