HKTB’s 'Hong Kong WinterFest' Highlight Event 'Immersive Light Show in Central' Launches on November 28, 2025
The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is gearing up for its annual Hong Kong WinterFest, and the centerpiece this year is the Immersive Light Show in Central, launching Friday, November 28, 2025. Here are the highlights of the event: Eight Iconic Buildings: Bank of China Tower, HSBC Main Building, Prince’s Building, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and more will be transformed with dazzling 3D projection mapping. Festive Themes: Expect magical scenes like Santa on his sleigh, Rudolph’s snowy flight, a dancing snowman, and giant gift boxes wrapping the city’s landmarks. Music & Atmosphere: Classic Christmas tunes such as Santa Claus is Coming to Town and It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year will be reimagined to accompany the visuals. 4K Projection Technology: High-definition projectors and animations across 30 holospheres and trees will create a layered, dreamlike experience. Starlight Boulevard: Chater Road will be illuminated with over 30 trees and a massive 12.5m Christmas tree installation, turning it into a must-visit photo spot.
