Three additional AC 3-Tier Economy coaches to 12257/12258 Yesvantpur–Thiruvananthapuram Garib Rath Express
South Western Railway has decided to permanently augment Train Nos. 12257/12258 Yesvantpur-Thiruvananthapuram North-Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Garib Rath Express.
The augmentation aims to enhance passenger accommodation and meet growing travel demand.
Additional Coaches Introduced

Three additional AC 3-Tier Economy coaches will be attached to the train permanently.

The augmentation will provide increased seating and berthing capacity for passengers.
Effective Date for Train No. 12257

Train No. 12257 Yesvantpur-Thiruvananthapuram North Tri-weekly Garib Rath Express will be augmented with three additional AC 3-Tier Economy coaches.

The revised composition will come into effect from October 18, 2026 from Yesvantpur.

Train No. 12258 Thiruvananthapuram North-Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Garib Rath Express will be augmented with three additional AC 3-Tier Economy coaches.
