Lufthansa takes off for Oktoberfest 2026 in new traditional Bavarian costume

For Oktoberfest 2026, the crews of the traditional flights will be dressed in a new look for the Octoberfest season.

New Traditional Costume Crew
- Designed by Spieth & Wensky, a Lower Bavarian heritage fashion house.
- Details blend Lufthansa branding with Bavarian style:
- Crane logo on buttons.
- “Wing Pattern” woven into skirts and waistcoats.
- Exclusive to Lufthansa cabin crews, continuing a 20-year tradition of “Trachtenflüge” (costume flights).

Special Oktoberfest Flights
- Debut routes:
- Munich → Bangalore (LH764) – Sept 19
- Munich → Beijing (LH722) – Sept 19
- Munich → Singapore (LH768) – Sept 27

Bavarian Delicacies On Board
- From Sept 1–30, selected intercontinental flights from Munich & Frankfurt feature Oktoberfest menus:
- Starters: white sausage terrine, pretzel tree.
- Mains: Wiesn roast duck, fried chicken.
- Desserts: apple strudel.
- Continental Business Class routes also serve Oktoberfest menus (Sept 17–Oct 6).

Lounges & Amenities
- German Lufthansa Lounges celebrate with Bavarian beers, festive décor, and “O’zapft is” barrel tapping.
