Emirates celebrates Oktoberfest with Bavarian specialties on board and across its German lounges
Emirates is once again celebrating Oktoberfest this year with a seasonal culinary offering on flights between Dubai and Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, as well as in the Emirates Lounges at the four German airports.
Seasonal Menus on German Routes
- Dates: 19 September – 4 October
- Available on flights between Dubai and Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg.
- First Class: Beef consommé with marrow dumplings, duck liver terrine, Wagyu sauerbraten, spiced roast chicken, Kaiserschmarrn, apple strudel.
- Business Class: Braised beef short ribs or cheeks, baked cheesecake, apple strudel.
- Premium Economy: Braised beef cheeks with Bavarian sides.
- Economy Class: Chicken bratwurst in puff pastry, paprika chicken, Black Forest cake.
- Extras: Gingerbread hearts (Dubai → Germany) and Oktoberfest movie snack platters (Germany → Dubai).

- Bavarian snacks: buttered pretzels, sandwiches (cream cheese & chives, roast beef, chicken Leberkäse, Emmental).
- Sweet treats: gingerbread, Black Forest cake, plum cake, cheesecake, doughnuts.

- Hamburg: Pretzels, smoked trout fillet with potato salad, Backhendl with mushroom cream sauce, vegan Bavarian cream dessert, Oktoberfest beer.
- Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf: Braised beef cheeks, potato noodles with sauerkraut, Bavarian skewers, chocolate-coated fruit.
- Lounges decorated with festive Bavarian themes.
