Air India announced that all its flights operating to and from Visakhapatnam International Airport will now operate from the new Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport, at Bhogapuram, with the same airport code VTZ, effective 17 August 2026.

- Importantly, the same airport code (VTZ) will continue to be used, so passengers won’t need to worry about code changes when booking.
Flight Operations
- Air India will maintain 14 weekly flights between Bhogapuram and Delhi.
- These flights connect seamlessly to Air India’s hubs, offering onward access to both domestic and international destinations.
