Viking announced it has taken delivery of the Viking Dagur, the company’s newest Viking Longship.
New Arrival – Viking Dagur
- Delivered at Meyer’s Neptun Werft shipyard in Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany.
- Capacity: 190 guests in 95 staterooms.
- Features Viking’s signature Scandinavian design, patented square bow (allowing three full decks), Aquavit Terrace, and two-room suites thanks to an asymmetric corridor layout.

- Will sail Viking’s popular European river itineraries:
- Rhine Getaway
- Paris to the Swiss Alps
- Christmas on the Rhine
- Christmas on the Rhine & Moselle
Fleet Growth Plans
- Viking expects delivery of:
- 21 additional river ships by 2028
- 9 ocean ships by 2031
- 2 expedition ships by 2031
- By 2028: 114 river ships in service.
- By 2031: 26 ocean & expedition ships.
