LOT Polish Airlines has reported record-breaking results for 2025, marking one of the strongest years in its history.
Passenger Growth
- Carried 11.7 million passengers in 2025 — a 9.4% increase year-on-year, the highest in the airline’s history.
- July alone saw 1.19 million passengers, setting a monthly record.
Financial Performance
- Revenue: PLN 10.22 billion
- Operating profit (EBIT): PLN 422 million
- Net profit: PLN 350 million
- Operating margin: over 4%
These figures rank among the highest financial results in the past decade.
Fleet Modernization
- Signed a landmark deal for 40 Airbus A220 aircraft (with options for 44 more), the largest fleet investment in LOT’s history.
- First A220s expected in 2027, consolidating the regional fleet around this model.
- Took delivery of 13 Boeing 737 MAX 8s in late 2025, with more arriving in 2026.
- Two new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners scheduled for delivery in 2026.
Network Expansion
- Launched 9 new routes in 2025, including Warsaw to Lisbon, Reykjavik, Marrakech, and Malta; Krakow to Paris-Orly; Radom to Barcelona.
- Announced 15 additional routes for 2026, strengthening regional connectivity from Krakow and Gdansk.
