Ruby opens Ruby Frida in Stockholm. It is the brand’s first property in Sweden and an electric new addition to its ever-growing global portfolio.

Concept:
Inspired by Stockholm’s 1960s music scene and Scandinavian modernism. The design blends warm wood, geometric forms, vintage details, and curated vinyl references.

Rooms:
187 in total, categorized as Cosy, Lovely, and Wow. Some feature private balconies, while others are cocoon-like retreats. Rates start at SEK 1,100 per night (excluding breakfast).

Experience:
- Social spaces with cocktails and barista coffee.
- Music woven throughout: curated sound programs, live acts, in-room Marshall amps and Bluetooth speakers.
- Tech-enabled, seamless guest services.

Development:
Housed in a transformed 1960s landmark, combining hospitality, offices, restaurants, and retail.

Expansion:
Ruby Group (part of IHG Hotels & Resorts since 2025) is growing rapidly, with 40 properties open or in pipeline, aiming for 120 hotels in the next decade and 250 in 20 years. Upcoming openings include Marseille, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Chicago, and New York.

The hotel is designed to feel like a cultural hub—connecting guests with Stockholm’s creative rhythm while offering Ruby’s signature “lean luxury” approach.
