The Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) is scaling up its CSR-led women’s empowerment program, setting a target to train 600 women in FY 2026–27. Growth trajectory: - 150 women trained in FY 2024–25 - 300 women trained and certified in FY 2025–26 - 600 targeted for FY 2026–27 Industry placements: Graduates have secured jobs with leading hospitality brands including Hilton Hotels, The Oberoi Group, Marriott International, and Delta Corp Ltd, with some placed internationally. Training focus: Entry-level roles in Food & Beverage Service, Front Office, and Housekeeping, combining classroom learning, practical exposure, soft skills, and industry immersion. Geographic outreach: Mobilisation across underserved regions such as Assam, Manipur, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh.
