British luxury cruise line Cunard has announced a landmark moment when all four Cunard ships will come together in Liverpool for the first time. Landmark Event - On 16 May 2028, Cunard’s full fleet — Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria, and Queen Anne — will unite on the River Mersey for the first time. - This marks a rare occasion in Cunard’s modern history, returning to its spiritual home of Liverpool, where the company was founded in 1840. Historical Context - The last major gathering was in 2015, when the three Queens assembled for Cunard’s 175th anniversary, drawing over 1 million spectators. - Queen Mary 2’s arrival will also mark her first-ever transatlantic crossing directly from New York to Liverpool, and Cunard’s first eastbound arrival from New York to Liverpool in 61 years (since RMS Sylvania in 1966).
