Key Festival Activities - Opening Ceremony – March 6, 2026 - Ao Dai Art Program – March 7, 2026 - International Women’s Day Celebration – March 8, featuring Ao Dai Folk Dance Ensemble & Parade - Graceful Ao Dai Contest (Final Round) – March 8, 2026 Cultural & Experiential Programs - Ao Dai exhibitions and interactive spaces - Children’s Ao Dai Design Contest - Online Ao Dai Photo Contest - Panel discussion with Consuls General & international students - Cultural tours and photo tours with Ao Dai Festival Ambassadors Social Impact - “Ao Dai of Love” Program – Collects Ao Dai and fabric donations to tailor outfits for disadvantaged women and female workers. - Tourism businesses offered free or discounted promotions for visitors wearing Ao Dai. Significance - After 11 successful editions, the festival is now a signature cultural-tourism event of Ho Chi Minh City. - Promotes the Ao Dai as a symbol of Vietnamese identity and enhances the city’s image as a dynamic, culturally rich destination. - Invitation extended for the 13th Ao Dai Festival in March 2027.
